The Global Affairs team builds authentic, collaborative relationships with public officials and the broader AI policymaking community to ensure that external perspectives inform our work and that policy frameworks support the safe and beneficial development of AI. We work closely with research, product, policy, legal, communications, and go-to-market teams to anticipate emerging issues, shape responsible policy outcomes, and advance OpenAI’s mission around the world.
About the Role
OpenAI is seeking a Latam Public Policy Associate to support its public policy work in Brazil and help coordinate regional initiatives across Latin America. This individual contributor role reports to Nicolas Andrade.
Brazil will remain the role’s primary focus, building on ongoing policy research, stakeholder engagement, and program delivery. The role will also provide program management and general support on regional policy issues, working with the Head of LATAM Public Policy and colleagues across OpenAI. Regional assignments will be agreed with Nicolas Andrade.
