Oxygen Track: Electrolysis, Gases and Pressure Systems
Making oxygen and hydrogen, separating air, handling cylinders and keeping high-pressure systems from hurting anyone. For plant operators, pipefitters, welders, gas techs and chemical process workers.
Oxygen covers electrolysis, industrial gases and the pressure systems that carry them.

What's in it
Module 1: Splitting water and CO2
Electrolysis uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen: two molecules of water make two of hydrogen and one of oxygen.
Module 2: Air separation and cylinders
Most industrial oxygen comes from air separation.
Module 3: Hydrogen safety
Hydrogen is the smallest molecule, so it leaks through fittings and seals that hold other gases.
Module 4: Pressure systems and pipefitting
Gas plants are pressure systems.
The full lessons, quizzes and final test are open to crew members. Joining is free.
A question from module 1
