Laminator

Department: CSAT-Composites Location: Midland, TX Shift: Train on 2nd Shift

Position Overview

AST SpaceMobile is seeking detail-oriented Laminators to support the manufacturing of advanced composite structures used in satellite and space technology applications. The Laminator will be responsible for preparing, laying up, and processing composite materials according to engineering specifications and quality requirements while maintaining strict adherence to safety and manufacturing procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform hand lay-up and lamination of composite materials, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and specialty fabrics.

Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.

Cut, prepare, and assemble composite materials according to production requirements.

Apply vacuum bagging techniques and assist with composite curing processes. …
