Your Impact
As a Mechanical Engineer II on the Automation Team , you will contribute to the design, build, and deployment of custom, high-speed automated assembly machinery from concept through release. Working closely with NPI, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineers, and Operations, you will develop mechanical sub-systems, prototype proof-of-principle solutions, and execute hands-on commissioning to deliver reliable automated assembly cells that protect production output and advance Axon’s mission.
What You’ll Do
3D Mechanical Design: Design custom mechanical stations, tooling, station layouts, mechanisms, and framing for automated assembly cells using SolidWorks CAD.
NPI & Prototyping: Partner with R&D and NPI teams to build Proof-of-Principle (PoP) benchtop prototypes and provide DFA feedback during early product development. …
