Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries is seeking a skilled and motivated Computer and Server Repair Technician to develop, implement, and support the Electronic Repair Center (ERC) for Fab 8 in Malta, New York. This position will focus on the diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, and lifecycle management of computer hardware, industrial servers, storage systems, network infrastructure, and related electronic equipment used to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role contributes to productivity improvements by increasing equipment availability, extending asset life, reducing replacement costs, and minimizing downtime. This position is located within the 300mm factory in Malta, New York. This is a normal schedule (5x2, Monday through Friday position), but will require flexibility across all shifts to support critical manufacturing needs. …
