Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries is seeking a skilled and motivated repair technician to clean and repair fab tooling parts with primary responsibility of repairing mechanical parts and identifying repair process issues to support the FAB9 Manufacturing Engineering Solutions (MES) area in Essex Junction, Vermont. The Fab9 MES in turn supports Fab9 semiconductor manufacturing operations. The candidate is primarily responsible for the troubleshooting, cleaning, repair, and testing of mechanical parts and assemblies and is also expected to develop and deploy standard work including the documentation of same for the areas of responsibility. Technician positions are hourly shift positions (days) working an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) week of 12-hour shifts. GlobalFoundries is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts.
