Job Description

Job Summary:  Micron’s Facilities Team is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Instrumentation & Controls Technician to support operations at our state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facility in Boise, Idaho. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety and excellence. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain instrumentation and control systems for facilities performance monitoring.

Perform calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E standards.

Interpret P&ID drawings and one-line diagrams to troubleshoot system faults and alarms.

Conduct preventive maintenance on complex facility equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor and respond to system alarms and abnormal conditions, promptly addressing system failures to efficiently restore equipment functionality. …
