Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern to support our mission of creating a healthy and safe environment for our employees and community. You will have exposure to the development and implementation of our EHS programs across engineering labs, manufacturing spaces, shipyards, and maritime testing operations.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and facilities teams to help maintain a safe workplace and support compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations. This internship is ideal for students interested in advanced manufacturing environments and eager to make an impact in the defense tech industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and training materials

- Conduct workplace health & safety inspections and hazard/risk assessments in laboratories, manufacturing, shipyard, field activities, and test environments

- Support incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking

- Help maintain OSHA compliance documentation, safety data sheets (SDS), and chemical inventories
