This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Join Blue Origin's fabrication and development teams, focusing on welding & fabrication, machining, final integration and testing of large tooling, landing platforms and other launch infrastructures that will enable us to build the foundation for a road to space. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
This position is meant to certify the welds across our fabrication teams.
Qualifications: Must have Certified Welding Inspector certification (CWI) with minimum 5 years’ experience.
Experience with the following welding processes: GTAW, FCAW, SMAW
Extensive knowledge of NDT processes including: VT, PT, MT
Experience inspecting to and working in accordance with national fabrication codes and standards (AWS D17.1, ASME BPVC Section IX, B31.1, B31.3, AWS D1.1, 1.2, D1.6, D14.0 etc.) …
