DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN (TS/SCI)

Join SpaceX’s IT Infrastructure team as a Data Center Technician, where you’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining multiple data centers. As a key member of our team, you’ll deploy and maintain the infrastructure that powers our mission critical systems, including servers, networks, HVAC and power systems. The ideal candidate has experience working with various types of hardware architecture and understands the strength of each.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and resolve networking, compute and rack power distribution infrastructure incidents in multiple data centers

Manage complete lifecycle for data center hardware including selection, deployment, operation, maintenance and decommission

Physically rack and cable data center equipment

Track and logically organize the physical storage of incoming data center equipment

Perform quality assurance testing and resolve recurring issues

Establish, schedule and track preventative maintenance procedures

Update documentation, including interconnect drawings, rack layouts and operation procedures …
