MILLWRIGHT (LAUNCH HARDWARE)

As part of the Launch Hardware Fabrication & Tooling team you will work on building and improving the mechanical systems at our rocket launch facilities. You will be on the ground floor, getting your hands dirty and contributing directly to the success of future launches.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions

Adjust machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts

Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, motors and programmable logic controls

Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts

Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances

Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments
