Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to support the Manufacturing Engineering Team with launching, maintaining, and improving assembly lines.

Responsibilities:

Provide technician-level support for all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to adhesive dispense systems, 3-axis robot gantries, laser cleaners, laser welders, wirebonders, vision systems, torque tools, custom fixtures, and tooling.

Serve as the first point of contact to troubleshoot issues that arise during production.

Develop and own a full maintenance program, including setting preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring a proper supply of spare parts, and writing standard operating procedures for maintenance.

Write standard operating procedures/work instructions for operation of equipment.

Operate equipment during initial process validation builds.

Train operators and associates on operation of equipment in steady state production.

Support engineering teams with line setup and process validation (e.g., gauge R&R testing, process window qualification, NPI validation builds).

Support engineering teams on failure root cause investigations. …
