As a Probe Automation Technician at Micron Technology, you will work within the group passionate about probe automation. You will support software systems that maintain factory operations. The team maintains automation capabilities including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling, and automation of on-site equipment. You will provide day-to-day operational support across shifts, monitoring system health, responding to automation alarms and failures, and performing first-level problem solving and recovery according to established procedures. You will work closely with shift manufacturing and equipment teams to restore automation availability quickly, raise issues to system owners when needed, and keep production flowing. Beyond daily support, you will take part in internal improvement projects that make automation systems more reliable and reduce manual effort for the team.
