How to get one

  • Trades roles here are titles like electrician, welder, machinist, pipefitter, HVAC tech, and the manufacturing, test and data center technicians who build rockets, fabs and AI data centers.
  • Many of these jobs ask for a license or certificate, not a degree. Add the ones you hold to your Personnel File from the standard list, and we match them to each posting.
  • Apprenticeships pay while you learn. Look for "Apprentice" in the title, or filter the board for apprenticeships.
  • Pay for trades is shown by the hour where we can. Our hourly figures are wages only; the total comp figure adds typical benefits and bonus. How we estimate.

About the pay figures (~): These are estimates. Yearly figures are estimated total comp ranges: the employer's posted pay range, or, with no posted pay, the median to 90th-percentile BLS wage for similar jobs, plus typical benefits and bonus, without stock. Hourly figures for internships and contract roles are posted rates or BLS hourly wage ranges. Figures outside the U.S. and for loosely matched titles are rough ballparks. How we estimate
